What Does the Morpheus8™Treatment Involve?
The Morpheus8™ procedure begins with the application of a topical anesthetic. From there, your provider will gently guide the Morpheus8™ device across the treatment area. The device contains microneedles that penetrate the skin, creating tiny micro-injuries that should stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Simultaneously, the device will deliver potent RF energy to the deepest layer of your skin to promote further production of collagen and elastin.
Throughout the procedure, your provider will monitor your skin’s response to the treatment and adjust the settings as needed. In most cases, the process takes between 15 to 60 minutes.
Are There Morpheus8™ Side Effects?
Morpheus8™ side effects are generally not cause for alarm and should fade promptly after the session is over. Patients may experience redness, swelling, or sensitivity, but these can usually be mitigated with over-the-counter medications or soothing creams. Furthermore, effects often become noticeable within the first few weeks after treatment (although this may vary from patient to patient).
How Much Does Morpheus8™ Cost?
At our practice, the cost of a single Morpheus8™ session is $900, while packages typically range from $2,400 to $4,000. The final price will be contingent upon several factors, from the treatment area(s) to the number of sessions and beyond.
