What Is BodyTite™?

BodyTite™ is a non-surgical body contouring procedure. This popular, minimally invasive treatment was designed to use radiofrequency energy (RF) and gentle suction to firm skin, tighten tissue, and reduce unwanted fat. The treatment can be used to contour various areas of the body, and in most cases does not require extensive downtime.

What Does the BodyTite™ Treatment Involve?

The BodyTite™ procedure is similar to FaceTite™, another minimally invasive skin tightening treatment offered at JEV Plastic Surgery & Medical Aesthetics. Like FaceTite™, BodyTite™ involves the placement of a small cannula beneath the skin. The BodyTite™ device emits the RF energy through the cannula, liquifying fat and prompting collagen renewal. Your provider will be able to moderate the energy’s temperature during the treatment, and a topical anesthetic is generally used for extra comfort.

Are There BodyTite™ Side Effects?

Like any cosmetic procedure, BodyTite™ is associated with a few potential side effects. For instance, patients sometimes report mild swelling, soreness, and bruising. With this in mind, however, these phenomena are usually very minimal and should fade on their own.

Moreover, the results of the BodyTite™ treatment can sometimes be seen right away; in other cases, it may take a few months for the effects to appear. Patients can often increase the longevity of their BodyTite™ results by maintaining a healthy diet and active lifestyle.
